it speaks volumes about the moral character of the religious. they close ranks when challenged even if the challenge is a crime. the same mindset allows catholics to get away with child rape and the benny hinns of the world to fleece desperate people of their money.
the question you need to focus on is why does an all powerful loving god set up and foster an enviroment where his represenatives on earth harm the innocent?
