1. spend a few minutes reading (and re-reading) the Gospel of John each day - just a bit each day, trying to read with your spiritual ear
2. spend a few minutes in quiet, in prayer each day. You can just chat with Him and build a personal relationship and then ask for understanding of any passage you don't understand.

Such claptrap is beyond me now, but I used to believe this once too.

Of course to those who believe in God and that Jesus is his son it is vital.

I did not start this thread for any other reason that for people to read Jesus' words for themselves.

No matter if you belong to a religion or are atheist or agnostic, or are "not-religious" it is important to read the words for yourself before deciding.
