Looking at ARKK since inception in November 2014, i think she is about matching the performance of the S&P at the moment. Although i guess behind if you include dividends.

Alfred Nobel and family were just grifters and the epitome of yellow journalism just like the Hearst family and their SF rags (Chronicle & Examiner). In fact there was a movie about William Randolph Hearst -- Citizen Kane which was originally called Citizen Hearst before the family went after the producers.
IMO she probably should have sold this more like it is a type of tech index instead of pretending to be a hedge fund.
If this was sold as the ARK innovation index she could just say the index is down. Instead it implies she should be outperforming from active management even though I don't know how that would be possible given the constraints of the fund.
Pretend it is some ARK model that all the active management is trading around to replicate their index and the index is quite over sold right now.
Instead she just looks like a fool and has to beg the Fed to stop crushing her.

She wrote a letter to the fed because she is getting her ass handed to her and her fund is down 70%. She is looking for a bounce from the fed but it’s not gonna happen. She is in a world of trouble.
Well doesn't this just SUCK for Mr. Hwang? It was bad enough that he blew-up his own private hedge fund, losing 15 billion in the process... and THEN he gets arrested...
And if that ain't bad enough...because he was also one of the ORIGINAL seeders of capital into Cathy's own fund... has to now have to go through THIS too...watching the rest of his capital go down with the ARKK ship.
Maybe in prison he can find someone with a credible hedge fund that at least can remain stable.
