Can we daytrade Futures?

I have never trade these products before, but I would like to understand them better. Many users have recommended for the daytraders to try Futures and Options rather stocks, with some advantages as better leverage, no Daytrading Pattern. But it is really true that you can daytrade Options and Futures if you have wait long time before to proceed at the next transaction against your first?

Obviously, You can daytrade futures. However, as usuall it`s trade off. There is nothing like this product is better than others. There is a lot of written materials regarding this problem. For me, as former futures daytrader (I trade swing and position now) the most realistic description was the one in Mr. Van Tharp`s "Trade Your Way..."

Anyway, good luck and lot of patience:)

profitseer was 100% correct. Once you trade with globex, there is no alternative. And once they figure out how to "eliminate" the pit in chicago it will truly become the preferred way to trade by all.

there are no restrictions on daytrading equity options either. I have a regular retail account and I do it occasionally with no restrictions on my account.
