Can I trade gold/silver in Forex via a prop firm based overseas if I reside in USA?

The Dodd-Franklin brought in last year prevented us from trading gold/silver in Forex if we are US residents,

my question is, if I trade within a prop firm can I trade gold/silver on Forex?
