I disagree with that statement. Gates might be an asshole in biz and being monopolistic and various questionable biz practices.
But in giving, I think he's pretty good. There are many other billionaires on the Forbes/FORTUNE list. I don't see any of them willing to give half or eventually all their wealth to good causes. Most of them give away through inheritance to their kids. For what? So, their kids can spend money like crazy and not work like Paris Hilton and be a socialite party animals?
So, despite what I don't like about Gates in the biz world, I think he's pretty decent in the humanitarian sense.
