Broker bid and ask

Hello, all. New to trading securities using CMEG as my broker with the sterling platform. Basically scalping/momentum is my strategy at this point in my early development.

question- are all brokers providing you with the market’s bid/ask prices or is this specific to each broker? Are all brokers displaying the same data? Sorry for the basic question but I can’t find this question asked anywhere.

I would imagine that is basic information that needs to be provided. Otherwise, how are you going to place an order without knowing the current price? TD Ameritrade is my broker and provides that information as well as level 2 where you see how many orders are lined up at a certain price.

All level 1 data should include the best bid and ask price available, and that should be the same across all brokers or data providers. Only possible difference would be if there was a delay in the data feed among one broker and the next.
