Broker Availability - New Brunswick?

All,

I recently moved back to New Brunswick and have begun the path of moving from paper trading to real-live retail forex.

I was initially going to go with MBTrading, but after going through the account opening process, came to realize that they can't open accounts for New Brunswicker's (only Ontario and Alberta).

I have gone to the Securities branch of gov and was unsuccesful in locating a retail forex broker that was licensed here.

Is anyone on ET currently residing in NB and trading forex? Any advice?

How about IB Canada? I'm not Canadian but its a shot in the dark.

Hello,

I leave in NB.
I have accounts with Interbank FX and FXCM.
You wont have any trouble opening an account wih them.

Interbank FX use the MT4 platfom.

I am not saying they are the best broker available. They both have pros and cons..

They are based in Toronto and client funds are held with Royal Bank of Canada. Trading accounts are insured up to CA$1mln by the Canadian Investor Protection Fund.
