Bodybuilding Researchers Uncover a Baffling Paradox in Men Who Use Steroids

I always thought he was natural.
I still think he had the most perfect physique/ proportions of any weightlifter.
And I think he did it with a 29 inch waist.
He worked out with Schwarzenegger as well.
Did you ever meet him?

Yes, I first met Arnold in 1975 when he came to town for an exhibition.

For the users on here, this is a pretty accurate depiction of a man that I was fortunate enough to train with in the mid-late 70s.

If not training for an athletic event I wonder why some guys take steroids? Please don’t take this question the wrong way, I’m not trying to be a smart ass holier than thou guy. I have toyed with the idea of taking steroids by https://steroids-evolution.org/ but never have. I wonder what the feeling is like. I love to lift and do it purely to improve my body and mind for myself and myself only. Give me some feedback on some experiences, good or bad, Just curious.
Thanks!

Thanks!

I think people take steroids because they see pics of other people that have taken them and they want similar results.

They know the risks, but they start out by taking small quantities, and then they feel compelled to take more dangerous drugs or greater quantities. It's like people that start smoking. They know the dangers, but the do it anyhow. Ditto for illegal drugs. They know the dangers, but they always think that an overdoes or an addiction happens to others and not them.

And every year a new crop of people start visiting gyms, and the cycle starts over.
