“Now, it is possible to teleport information so that it never physically travels across the connection – a ‘Star Trek’ technology made real.”
He fails his Star Trek canon/lore, because Roddenberry's transporter actually DOES require the information to travel across the medium. Thus the term "transporter beam" and shit like "We can't transport through that much solid rock". Star Trek never got to the spooky-action-at-a-distance phase of Sci-Fi.
