Yes, the average winner is highest for Futures with annual returns above 300%. See stats here from Robbins Cup last decades.

Top CTAs managing currencies (>10mm) are returning per average 7.6% monthly. Below you see ranking the best CTAs from Number 1 to 10 here over last years per annum. What you see is also that the best CTA for Forex made 217% annually versus the Winner on Forex at Robbins was average "only" 106% p.a.

combs (buffets deputy) compounded his IRA 30percent over 30years. He has like 300mm in it as a result.
 
If anyone is interested into deeper look of Goldman Sachs Trading returns with some of the very best traders around, this guy made a good analysis. Since it is in german language you need to autotranslate it. But find it interesting to see.
Another Goldman Sachs Analysis video about their Trading division, which you need to autotranslate since it is in German language. But interesting too I find.
Just found it. He also has an English channel where he (later) translates his own videos.
