Which FX Broker offers the cheapest execution costs?

I'm fairly new to FX,,,,trying to add more trading options to my trading - currently an equities trader.....

I text-chatted with GFT and they told me that a 1-lot of EUR-USD with a 2-pip spread would only cost me $2 for a roundtrip trade..

Is this right? I think it's wrong but would like to get feedback from those with more experience trading the FX markets..

Also, one where I am not competing with the firm's in-house trading desk?

I have heard that some brokers hunt for stop losses......and stop buys.......
