Burton's Batman movies remain my favourite, then Nolan's.

I agree that Burton did it best. And his first Batman movie was better than the second, Michelle Pfeiffer as the perfect Catwoman notwithstanding.

I'm encouraged by talk of Burton and Keaton discussing another Batman movie, but I don't know if there is any truth in those rumors.

I was so awed by Pfeiffer's presence and performance as Catwoman in the second movie that my perception of the actual movie is pretty skewed.
I'd love to see Keaton back in the role in some capacity.
