I'm torn between these two.See the pros and cons of both.
1-establish 50% position(long)...complete on .50-.75 retracement(if happens). STP whole position say for 1.5 loss. OR-
2-enter half and then complete on mkt. confirmation(eg .50 move in desired direction). Still use 1.5 STP ; scale out accordingly if profit expands.
OR-just enter complete position at once and then scale out/stp accordingly?
Would welcome any feedback,insight.I realize ones unique risk tolerance comes into play here as well as objective(heavier trading,smaller profits vs. fewer with bigger objectives).
I have found in my obvious short career that if I'm right on mkt. momentum/direction the trade tends to go my way right away initially with very little retracement.
