Yes you could do this .... but ....you should not want an outside entity of any type emailing you signals. Your trading signals should be generated by you or your own algorithms..... otherwise dont trade.
The way this would be done in general is that there would be software analyzing an information feed with price/volume/book information and then processing the data for signal matches - this might be on the same or different physical system depending upon load. .....Trading systems are really just a repeatable pattern of software modules which these days are quite simple to implement.
