I know they clear through penson but never had an account with them...

I was interested in their scanning software..topgun. Looked interesting to me at one time. I dont really intraday trade so never tried it....

Do a search for topgun and you may find some additional info...

There was some recent talk about IB not passing on rebates. These guys do. I'm curious why they're not that well known or popular. What they offer - commissions and software - seems to be very appealing.
