VIX futures do exist -- I posted a chart of them with Nasdaq 100 E-Mini futures earlier.

Value close to 1 means a positive correlation (trading instruments go in the same direction). Value close to -1 means an invert correlation (trading instruments go in opposite direction). Value close to 0 mean no correlation at all.
