Antonella playing the W (WayFair) sport squeeze?

I was referring to the 30% short interest which is incredibly high and the short squeeze traders will be gunning for this.

Looks like the PPI was favorable so W should go a lot higher. I would say at least to the high $40s / low $50s. This rally seems to have more legs especially with the Thanksgiving/Christmas season coming.

Indeed it looks like there is still some play left on WayFair, but I am not sure how much I'll hold my calls before reselling them.
One more question, if you don't mind. Are the PPI or CPI good predictor of future stock performance? Where do you check them?

CPI/PPI are just measures of inflation in the system. High inflation helps stocks in the Energy & Agricultural/Foods sectors. Unfortunately it hurts most other industries so that's why everyone is focused on it.

Stocks like Wayfair, Purple, Williams Sonoma, etc. in the home decor market are actually dependent on real estate market. They've actually done pretty good considering the real estate market has gone cold due to mortgage rates tripling in 6 months. Wayfair is a premium brand so they are able to raise prices and thus not be effected by inflation as much. The same is true for Wiliams Sonoma.

Wayfair had a pretty good Black Friday/Cyber Monday so their stock has gone up 33% in 2 days. My Dec $50 calls went from $0.10 to $2.20 as of today's close (avg price I paid was $0.85). I still believe it can get to the mid $50s short term -- $58 is the Fibonacci Retrace level vs. the August highs.

Your way of trading (or rather investing) is quite typical.
Many newbies do such a thing too.

I don't see any short squeeze.

It must be a badly managed company.
Are the board of directors and top management still around?
Will it go below the low of 28?

It seems like it will hover around 24 to 50 for a very long time.
