Anti aging supplements

I've been reading books that discuss supplements to improve healthspan and lifespan for a long time and I consider The Kaufmann Protocol: Why We Age and How to Stop It to be the most convincing one I've read so far.

She systematically describes how our different systems break down over time, similar to the aging of the different systems in an automobile or another complex type of equipment. She makes a compelling argument that if we do nothing but eat right and exercise properly our different bodily systems will still degrade in different ways over time because that is their natural progression.

She then provides evidence from peer-reviewed studies that some supplements can be used to slow the breakdown of this physiological system or that system. She categorizes them based on what systems they work on and has a nice table in the back of the book to summarize the top recommendations.

A followup book was published a couple of months ago called The Kaufmann Protocol: Aging Solutions. I can't comment on that one yet but will read it soon.

Did a speed read on table of contents; sometimes can be a gold mine.
Vitamin C sounds like a healthy chapter.
[Gingo b is another good way to go, whole wheat, salmon, sardines , smoked sardines also help;
i like hen eggs + country eggs, even though the cereal kings do negative articles against them.:D:D]

Testosterone replacement is the only thing I will consider at some point. Supplement wise, I just take vitamin C and vitamin D but if I didn't it probably wouldn't matter much.

It is always an easy sell to con people into believing there is hope in a gel cap that is so ineffective it isn't even classified as a drug. When you are young the con is to convince you it will build muscle to get partner. When you are old the con is to convince you it will keep death away.

C + D most likely will not help a lot, compared to a good vitamin+ mineral supplement.
Good thing they are not classified as drug, that would make waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to much regulation + jack up the price wrongly:caution::caution:
