I loved the old Datsuns, especially the Z. Simple and reliable.

Datsuns and early Nissans were the only cars that could ride perfectly with no body, because while mechanically they were excellent, they were the worst for rust.
 
Had it for 3 years. Many ski trips to Catskills and New England. Traded in for Audi.

Rust was one of the reasons I didn't keep it longer. Brooklyn Nissan rust-proofed - drilling holes in rocker panels injecting the stuff in. Rust started right there lol around rubber plugs.
