AGP bus vs PCI bus?

I am running a 19" lcd monitor using a ATI 7500 card in
the AGP bus. It is digital and the picture is crystal clear.
I have another new computer whereby the existing graphics
card is built into the board. I am using a Mitsubishi 15" lcd
monitor in analog mode, however it can also go digital.
This computer only has an open PCI slot. I can get the
ATI 7500 card in PCI bus format. Question. Will the picture
be as clear using a PCI bus, vs the AGP bus? By using the
outdated PCI bus will it dilute picture quality? There is no
open AGP slot available. I would like to take advantage of
the digital mode of the Mitsubishi monitor.

There's shouldn't be a visual difference..

but your selections for PCI cards nowadays are very limited, and AGP cards are generally faster just through architecture.

The slot (AGP vs. PCI) doesn't determine the picture quality.

He's correct. It's all digital at the AGP or PCI interface - all that matters (mostly) is bandwidth from the `puter to the card.
