Great. It works well with coherent laser beams. Let's now test it in the real world, which is Sol! You know, that star in the sky that is supposed to power this new next-gen solar panel?
It's called research and that's how progress works.
Why didn't they test it in the sun in the first place? I smell research money-grab.

Your sense of smell is acute. I have become super-cynical starting in the mid-to-late 1990s. It unfortunately is not abating, because the world, and the people in it, just keep getting stupider and stupider.
