Went to the St. Regis in Abu Dhabi this weekend.
they have a $200pp brunch buffet there. There was a Foie Gras Station!
It was truly spectacular.
 
Alas foie gras is banned in California....

TheCalifornia foie gras law,CaliforniaS.B. 1520, is aCaliforniaState statute that prohibits the "force feed[ing of] a bird for the purpose of enlarging the bird's liver beyond normal size" (CaliforniaHealth and Safety Code § 25981) as well as the sale of products that are a result of this process (§ 25982)
