30 YR Bond Issuing

Does anyone know or have they heard if the government is going to start issuing new 30yr bonds again? I know they announced awhile ago that they were going to stop but I have also heard talk that they were going to start again. Does anyone have an update on this?
 
They periodically keep stating that they have no intention of starting to issue 30's again, and pretty much every economist periodically says they are crazy for not doing so. Right now, there are no official plans to do so.

Thanks for the update. I wish they would signal that they were going to start issuing them again because I think they are great to trade. Nice big tick to scalp. Kind of reminds me of Nasdaq stocks 4 yrs ago but more liquid. I just don't want volume to slowly die in them
