If you open a four-leg spread and close it on the same day. Some brokers count as 1 day-trade, and some as 4 day-trade. Why? I thought the rule is from the exchange authority, not from the individual brokers.

I am new in ES options. Usually ES options will be ended(expired) at 5:00 pm. Will quarterly expiring future options be different? Are they will be expired tomorrow morning 9:00 am? Thanks in advance for your help.
