looking for a firm to trade futures in an ira. will trade gold and silver futures, maybe treasuries. would like to be able to see market depth on multiple markets. throw in the usual wishes of reliability and low commissions to complete my wish list. recommendations?

i did it in a different era. started as a salesman at a government dealer. switched to become government portfolio manager at a new york bank. went back to a dealer to trade intermediates. back to original firm where i became head trader. harvard was a factor in initial hiring, but experience...

guess it depends on how many you trade slick.

i use ffastfill. anybody who does high volume should. i saved over $5000 last month versus ib. not only that but i know someone on a first name basis when i need some sort of help.

that trader in the mountains of colorado would be me. i have had no problems trading financial futures with a dialup. when i lived in illinois i used cable and have seen no appreciable difference.
