Tick is a direction tool for me. I try to trade the trend reversal and trade with the trend. uh??? if add is positively strong, then i try to buy the extreme low ticks. Volume will usually help confirm. I think carter left out a lot in his book about tick. it's a great internal tool.

I guess I should've asked, is this higher tick more significant than let's say a 1300 tick reading?

I trade the ES and the NQ (mostly the NQ these days) - I've started using the TS a little more and trying to find a balance with size filter... Is there a block size where I should start to filter at? Cheers J

I'm really happy with Amp. I trade es and nq and the fills are good on market orders (I usually do limits). I wish they had EFT though. That is their only problem imop. Always someone on the phone to help you. J

I trade the NQ and ES mostly. I was wondering (during reg. normal trading hours), if you use the 24 hr globex chart or the reg. trading hours chart? thanks

If nobody was making money on the es nq and ym, the volume wouldn't be where it is. The minis are a great investment tool.

that is the key to successfull ES and NQ trading. It is all about controlling risk which from reading most of the posts, not many seem to do it. I have a stop before the order is placed. Always protecting capital. Great post Austin
