    Backtesting software

    TradeStation 6 offrs 30+ years of daily data and nearly 1 1/2 years of intraday data (1 minute and above). The misunderstanding might be that it offrs 2 weeks of time and sales data. So you can bring up a tick by tick chart for 2 weeks, however a 1 minute (or any interval built from 1 minute)...

    2000 v XP

    I moved to XP and am happy with it. I increased my RAM to 256 megs and now my machine seems to run much faster. Have not had problems.

    :) Stocks 1.2 cent per share (includes all ECN fees). E-Mini futures $3.99 per side. TradeStation 6 just $99.95 per month and waived for very active traders. I just got this info from www.tradestation.com Looks like IB has some serious competition.
