yep. as many variations, styles, strategies, as there are traders. not to mention the new era of bots being developed that will crush many of the old reliable patterns. pick something of interest and comfort and become an expert and don't get lost in the maze.

Absolutely. I used to trade a screen full but I have paired back to just a couple. Less stress, more control, better results for my style.

Funny - I was at a traders seminar , about 200 people, and I have to say there were fewer than a handful that looked like they take care of themselves. Many were heavy smokers, leather skin, over weight, liquid lunches and so on. I think the stress from wild swings to boredom to total fear and...

Yet - you keep coming back to this thread and posting more - why would you if it is not time well spent for a successful trader like yourself ?

Who cares ! Does a recession or not affect traders ? It should not. It affects people with salaried jobs. That is why I am a trader ! So we can sell to the depths of the ocean or rally to Pluto. I am happy either way.:)

too funny. I rarely watch WallyWood. Occasionally I will cut it on but I find myself turning it off after a few. Just total mindless uneducated "diarrhea of the mouth" worthless noise.:D

uh we should all be traders , not long term buy only investors. there are an infinite number of interpretations and opinions on bubbles, market direction, economy, fed rates, ahhhhh...So many it is a boring topic. If you have a system that works stick with it until proven otherwise. Up, down...

identify your reason for being in it...intra-day scalp or position trade ? your reason gives you the entry point, if your reason is a pattern or whatever, if that fails then you should get out. depending on projected length of your trade - based on target and ave price swings, etc - your...

in order to short you have to borrow it. if shortable stock inventory is exceeded you will not be able to short. i haven't looked but maybe the short threshold has been reached and it is almost impossible to short at the moment.

we have to wonder why the mods are censoring anything less than positive, hmmm is Jack in the house ? i agree let's end the babble - million other techniques out there that work just fine - let's move on to .... my techniques ! for sale of course :D
