How can you compare marijuana to cigarettes? That's like saying an apple is a orange.. numb and dumb? in Amsterdam Pot has been legal for years and teens have gone to college smoking pot and graduated to become doctors and lawyers....same in the states I'm sure many here in the U.S. have... -

Who's cheaper than Scottrade and DOESN'T have inactivity fees?
I been with Scottrade 10 years now for 7 bucks they are hard to beat and the service is the best I have my own scottrade office just down the street..for any problems So many other brokers come and go beware of that too.... just my 2 cents- bat1

Help please, Don't tell me it's a dumb question! :D I bought stock ''XXX'' The day before it went ex dividend how soon can I sell it and still get the dividend? 1. I can sell it on the ex dividend day as long as I owned it at the open ? 2. I have to keep it the whole ex dividend... -

the way to play the game is..Sell before the ex dividend date OAK... had a run up to 59.50 then on exdividend day it tanked to 55 4 1/2 points spread ... Next time long into the div date sell then watch the drop then long again...pays way better then shorting or getting the div -

Thank you sir for not putting me down and saying it like it is looking at the chart it's at a top So I shorted it and did not realize it's going exdividend I'm still looking to cover at 54 so that's 6k I will gain and now the div will cost me 2,820 that's still a 3k gain :D -

Any stock pros here? Question, I went short '' OAK'' at 57 ..2000 shares and it is going ex dividend on the 15th do I still get the dividend? I'm still a share holder right or wrong?
