Hi risky, how's it going? As we have discussed several times over the past year, issues and pressures not readily traceable have skewered conventional reads of this market. As the old saying goes "follow the money"....it doesn't work like it used to because so much has been hidden from view...

As the years pile up in trading I have come to realize how rare it is for 2 traders to be on the same page regarding a working given method. This probably accounts for the low responses. I have the same problem in a small chat I frequent. :) (jk)

Ok, closing the short for +1.5 points. This one wasn't up to your usual standards of at least 5+ points. this makes 5 winners in a row taking the opposite side of stock_trad3r. High % trades always. BTW, your idea of just trading the AH stuff sure seems to be carrying over into the RTH area...

I can't tell you how glad I am to see you posting this stuff. It means there is about a 90% chance of it doing the opposite, just like the last 3 times you tried this. How's that sim trading working out for you? From the looks of your ladder I would say you kicked the old ones out and started...

Excellent post, most here have no idea of the ramifications of this tax change because it doesn't affect them. It never will.

Hey stock trad3r, I didn't think you had any paper left after blowing it all trying to stay long all the way down and then trying to call option plays and getting whacked on that. It's really hard to gather any credibility with no positive reputation whatsoever. If you aren't STOCK TRAD3R then...

If you are using indicators I would suggest using either tick or volume charts for AH data, it provides a better read. If nothing is happening, nothing is skewering the indicators. I use minutes charts for RTH in addition to the ticks because different things show up in each format.

It's not a book. That should read "you don't know what you don't know" , it's just a saying that fits the situation most find themselves in when beginning to trade futures. Sorry for the confusion.

Sound advice, I might add that early on "you don't know what you know". I read things 10-15 years ago that had no meaning then but are crystal clear today. There is no substitute for 1000's of hours of screen time. Good luck.
