What a shame! Hope it's not true... I'm using QT for charting (with IB's datafeed) for many years successfully. I've tried other softwares as well but no one can compare with its simple and reliable usage of QT... Don't let her go!

Concerning cost/benefit I'm using QT for charting and Zerolinetrader for execution. It's a very nice and reliable combo!

I'm using QT for several years with IB, for pure charting it's one of the best software out there [IMHO]... If TT and YF are not listed on the QT website, well I guess it's not compatible... but send Jerry Medved from QT an E-Mail! He's quick in answering...

e.g.: EURO: 6E, in TWS: EUR -> Futures -> Globex... YEN: 6J, in TWS: JPY -> Futures -> Globex... etc.

I agree on this statement. Ags are quite though for a beginner to trade with their complicated fundamental background like weather, supply/demand, harvest forecasts etc.... Try YM or NQ, avoid the data releases (study the economic calendar on bloomberg.com) and there you go.

You can have up to 20 days of data on Intraday Charts (regular registered users have max 10) with an account at TD Ameritrade...

I dunno understand what's your problem... just liquidate them by selling and buying??

First of all: http://quotetracker.com/help/tdameritrade.shtml or send Jerry medved an e-mail, hes very quick in answering requests!! Then: It should be ESZ9 not ES9Z etc. ;-)

subaccounts are no problem with IB... it's simply to switch between them for managing trades, can define allocation profiles etc.
