That's what I thought. Depending on how long the contest period is that would be pretty high an "entry fee" to enter this contest. I can't see many daytraders willing to do this. Like I said, it caters to longer term traders and those with other agendas. This is a daytrading thread, remember?

$300 average per contract on a one lot is damn impressive. That's $75,000 a year and 3/4 mil if trading 10 lots. In regards to increasing your size, that depends on how much capital you have at risk and your risk tolerance level.

Becareful! This sounds like a Texas hedge!!! The indexes are correlated but not all the time. You don't want to be caught with a big "hedged" position when they diverge and go the opposite way.
