925-870, for a couple of days or a week, that's OK. For a summer, unlikely, IMHO. This market is not that lazy even though the VIX has dropped significantly.

The market is moving up in a structured channel. The odd is not high to have a blow-up V-top with this kind of slow and steady uptrend. No hurry to pick up the top, IMHO.

Top 888 for intraday only. I see zero signs for 888 as top for this bull run. I mean zero signs, seriously.

My observation is that market tends to float higher in light volume at pre-FOMC announcement, espeically recently. Today my guess is that the big boys wants to use this day to break key resistance level at 870. My analysis of charts also support this point. We will see what will happen.

Can't recall what's the last time for a powerful drop at Pre-FOMC announcement. Combined with the super light volume, this scenario is very unlikely. My sense is that the market wants to go higher, period.

Which day is better than FOMC day to break the upper resistance at 870? Perfect timing by the big boys. Just my 2 cents.

Scratch for 4 ticks. Waiting for shorting at higher prices.

    Short 838.75. 4 ticks stop.

You are right. Since I don't want to hold futures overnight, bought some SDS before the close. Today haven't found a good entry on either long or short side. Still waiting for a decent bounce to short.

ES is drifting lower. GS is climbing higher. Don't know what this divergence means (intraday wise)?

873-874 looks to be a good target for this run-up.

Regardless of it is due to human or devil, as long as we have some clues, we may take some free ride with them. That's what I'm hoping for.

Maybe a naive quesiton here: Where does the majority of trading volume of ES come from during AH? Do they come from overseas or the trading desk of big institutions in US (GS, MS, MER, etc)? Recently we see more big directional moves in AH. I want to have a clue how the AH market is working.

Sudden surge and long time consolidation. This kind of rally is not fun to trade. Hopefully this rally will end soon and bring volatility back.

Today's drop is tricky since the two resistances (819.5 and 822.25) are so close. I wanted to wait 822.25 got pierced and short. However, the price stopped at 821.75 and turned so I missed the entry. That's the reality of trading. Your entry is a little earlier and thus got burned.

The big move was stolen in AH. RTH is becoming very sluggish. This kind of market is not fun to trade unless you trade AH. VIX is over 40? Don't feel that way.

LC rocks. Printing high tick of 838.75 before 4:00 pm EST, one tick away from 839. Sadly my long at 831.5 got stopped out at 830.25 and didn't ride the upmove at the close. Very messy move at the close, to say least.

Has Bernanke finished his speech? What a slow market. Feel like VIX is in single digit. Quite surprized that this kind of market happens in post-job report release.

I ususally don't comment on other's comments. However, your comment is very ignorant. Do yourself a favor to educate yourself about about Russia and particularly, China. No toilet paper to wipe the assess...What a joke!!! FYI, the first plug-in electric car in the world is made and sold...
