    Contracts

Wow Speedracer, sounds like a very good lawyer would be pretty cheap for you. Contracts in most states aren't encorceable if they prevent you from earning a living while not harming the business prospects of your former employer.

    Don's Openings Pt. 2

Great explanation of opening order. SPM is the big sp futures contract 9:15 close that you are using? Also, what source do you use for beta on your stocks. Have you pretty much settled on 1% or are you adjusting based on size of gap? Thanks for your contributions to a great thread Eric

    Echotrade

This 12 months from notification of withdrawal was what I was told, that's why I brought it up. It may be that I misunderstood, I did not see this in writing. I apoligize if that is incorrect, as you mentioned, it can be clarified by calling company or looking at their contracts. RTharp, As...

    Echotrade

I believe you also don't start counting the 12 months until the day you withdraw from the LLC. TraderJimR, it seems to me that you keep pointing 1 finger at Don, but have 4 non-stop hyping fingers pointed back at yourself. DatTrader, hitting the bid/ask is often the best way to enter/exit...

    Echotrade

Technically it may, but the opportunity to hit the bid/ask and not pay any ecn fee at all still seems more advantageous and less expensive.

    Worldco LLC

Uptick Several points swayed me, including, their fees included ecn fees, which for some may not matter if mostly listed but I have a small basket of big cap techs I trade, the bullets and haircuts were the same or better, they have a program for 15k vs 25 k, (in fact they are rumored to be...

    Worldco LLC

Hitman, gotta hand it to you, your threads measure responses in the 10's of thousands while most measure in the 10's or perhaps 1000's. I also would like to compliment Don on his contributions to the board. In searching out for a prop firm, it was the way he handled himself under constant...

    Bright Meeting and Elite...

The Chicago also gives the advantage of not requiring you(prop/prof firms) to hold a traders money for 1 year if he leaves also, which is pretty important imo :)

    Bright Meeting and Elite...

If I am not mistaken Chicago stock exchange also charges $500. If this isn't correct please let me know

User Names On Elitetrader (a fun thread)

My name and middle and last initial, sometimes add an "ei" if this is taken, use it for email, chat rooms etc 3i, I thought your name was after the "inner eye" needed to see beyond the physical world of bids and asks....thought you explained it that way few years ago lol... Eric

New Nasdaq Fees (Echo vs. Bright)

Nice tip Bryan, good idea. Thanks cashonly and Vinny1 for answering my questions. Eric:cool:

New Nasdaq Fees (Echo vs. Bright)

How much do they charge for level 2? Also, for clarity, Bright does not have direct ecn access except to Redi correct? Isld, arca, brut, mxt, inca are hit thru redi algorithm then?

I am with the " the indexes don't change, the mini's do" crowd....besides, gotta question anything you see at 330am:D

New Nasdaq Fees (Echo vs. Bright)

I have seen this game also, not just on listed but on thinner nazdaq's. Gotta pay attention.:p

    challenging trading environment

I have found 2 big advantages to Bright over Echo, first, because of exchange affiliation, if you decide the firm, or prop/professional trading is not a good fit, with Bright you will be refunded your money right away, vs. 1 year for Echo. Second, Echo charges ecn fees and Bright doesn't...

    Choose Bright or Echo?

Checked the latest broker ratings where? A magazine, website, this site?? Not much weight to it without documentation of some type. Post a link or some additional info.
