How would you handle a situation where the 20ema does not hold as support and you start getting closes below the 20 ema? In this situation assume the 5 min chart has not reversed to a downtrend but the retrace is looking a little deeper than expected.

I remember reading you used to use Keltner lines as targets. If you no longer use them as targets what do use now? next level S/R perhaps?

cornix- yes it's always obvious AFTER the fact. one can imagine a DTL break and then an entry once PA regains support above the MA Ocean- you're absolutely correct. I usually do not trade CL between noon and 1:30 ET.

Trying to copy nikhoi but still not right. What I did was use hull ma period 10 and triggerlines zip in ninja. I arbritrarily put in period 10 and in trigger average 8. I eliminated plot 1 by making it transparent and used "hash" for plot style in plot 2 which gives the blue horizontal lines...

I want to make sure I understand your definitions. If you look at PB 1, are you saying that the mean is established by the equal lows of the first 2 candles, the extreme is set by the lowest low of candle 4 and then when the low of candle 5 touches the previous mean set by the lows of candles 1...

If you project from a swing low to a swing high your projection should be above the swing high. So in your second example where the swing high of 866.25 comes before the swing low of 862.75 shouldnt that give you a projection that is lower? namely 866.25-862.75=3.5x1.6=5.6 ie 862.75-5.6=857.15...
