Rollover IRA's money went into regular trading account - no tax consequences

You will not get a "tax bill" from the IRS. Your friend should have gotten a Tax Form (can't think of the form number) from the IRA broker reflecting that you closed the IRA account and transferred the funds somewhere else. I am not talking about the customary year end 1099 form from the...

direct statistical trading a "clearly" defined approach by NTW31

I have a question about removing the 'extreme trades'. I am using 80% accuracy with N = 21 so I should remove 4 trades from SD and/or LD columns that will maximize the difference between SLD (smallest largest distance) and LSD (largest smallest difference). Now let's say than in the LD...

Odds Czar: Simple Biases In the Futures Market: 2009

Using, what I hope is the correct cash symbol(s), I have SP500 = 6, NDX = 6 and RUT = 4. Looking at the individual components the differences are in the 10-day Average Range. I have 1 and 1 for the SP500 and NDX while Art has -1 and -1 . I will reexamine my coding for the 10-day Average Range.

ETUserisme. Do not have access to continuous futures contract. Only have the current expiry contract(s). Some of the lookback periods are greater than what I have data for because the Index complex just rolled over about a week ago. Using the cash indexs, I do seem to be pretty close...

Coloring the line is one way. For a couple of reasons I choose to plot a triangle when the "wave" line changes from falling /rising to rising/falling. The black triangle point down when the "wave' line is starts to fall and the triangle point up when the wave line starts rising. The yellow...

    Day-Trading 2.0 for small traders

I do not have a clear understanding of where you place your initial stop. For instance, The Macro Direction is up - price above the 240 WMA. The Wave Direction is up with higher highs and lower lows. The slope of the 6 WMA turns positive/green. Where is the initial stop placed? The low of...

    Automated trading through Excel

I am using the Excel trade sheet that comes with Trade Magic using IB as the broker and the data feed. BY going through the trace logs one can see that TM (Trade Magic) is handling the event being posted by IB/s API. For some reason the corresponding events in Excel VBA do not get fired 100%...
