I'M CURRENTLY WITH BOTH ADVANTAGE AND MF, BUT WILL BE SEVERING TIES WITH MF AND OPEN AN A/C WITH EITHER AMP OR MIRUS. ADVANTAGE ARE GREAT. MF - DON'T GO THERE. ARCANE, SECOND RATE TECHNOLOGY AND PLATFORM. MOST OF MY BAD FILLS HAVE ALWAYS BEEN WITH MF. OF COURSE, THIS IS ONLY MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE.

Happy Holidays to All Did anyone trade Gold on Fri 12/26. If so, were there alot of slippage. I did not even get filled - it went right through my stop. Now I'm looking at a Big Hole in my A/C. MF Global is giving me the run-around saying that it was an exchange prob:confused: :mad: :(

Does anyone know which IBs use Goldman Sachs as their futures clearing firm. I think Transact and Infinity do for some of their trades. Just wondering who else use Goldman....

I believe IB gives interest on the spare cash in the a/c. Not sure about anyone else.

Kiwitrader, I only trading futures (through Brokerone) and US stocks/options with optionsxpress. The fees are too high for futures with any of the oz brokers especially for overseas markets, so I'm looking to change brokers. I'm seriously considering IB.

So Kiwitrader, u a big fan of IB??? I'm searching for one that's reliable and doesn't charge me $40 per r/t. Brokers here in Oz are big rip offs.
