These are probably naive questions, but I asked another trader and he didn't know. I use IB charts on TWS. I've also used Sierra and QT in the past. Who can see my charts? IB? Is there a way to make charts private where no one else can see them? Thanks, NN

So basiically, most of the real wealth ends up in the hands of Corps. and the financial system. Pretty good plan - for them.

Geez man, if bid = ask it should execute. Probably a routing issue, if you were using SMART. Keep an eye on the exchange that it is routed to. Smart can be very slow to switch to a better price. If your order was routed to CBOE and the 3.25 was fron ISE, for example, that would explain the...

Commie is correct. I got there by eliminating a conversion and reversal from the spread. One reversal left + the 30C=the 30P.

:confused: At expiry, it's breakeven from 30-35 so you're out cost. Your thingy looks kinda long stranglish to me. IMO - option comms are not immaterial. An eqivalent position could be done for less assuming that you could adjust size.

S-C=-P is probably all you really need to know for now. Believe me - it's great for a beginner to know equivalents. You may see that options are really bits and pieces of the underlying. The cost of carry is missing from the equation. In the equation we assume P,C are at the same strike...
