    Chuck Hughes Strategies

I was attracted to Hughes trading style because he makes it simple. That being said, I find his courses a good value for the money. I think the MVP Secrets cost something like $50, very affordable. I found the strategy made sense and have traded it with success. The downside to his strategies...

The premise is to buy long calls on stocks whose price are at recent highs or have potential to greatly appreciate in the future. Conversely, long puts on downward price depreciation. Max loss is the cost of the call or the put. I am long in KIRK, CECO, THO, FINL, and was recently stopped out...

I thought I would put some final thoughts here to give you something to think about. All these guys are hucksters, yes. They do make what appears to be outrageous claims of prosperity but lets bear in mind they all have succeeded whereas you and I may be struggling. Does this mean they are...

I can't reply as to how he "makes" his money other than by his own trading strategies and sales of his courses and a trading alliance he has formed. Look, here's the point. Anyone can sell frozen dog turds, claim they're organic fiber and thus good for you and make a mint. You must be...

If you are referring to my experience with the Chuck Hughes strategies, here are my two cents worth: (1) the trading results he shows are actual portfolio accounts he has with E*Trade. (2) he has confirmation letters from Robbins Trading Co. to confirm his world championship results...

Should I switch to Interactive Brokers or stay with Optionsxpress to trade options?

I can't speak about OX, but customer service has been mostly responsive to my needs. As far as fills go, the closer you are to market orders, the quicker the fill with MO's being filled virtually instantaneously.

Short Selling Puts: a fantastic utopia?

Why would anyone want to short puts, or calls for that matter, without an offsetting long put or call for protection thus limiting risk and reducing attendant margin?

    Advisor Accounts

I'm using IB as my trading platform as an advisor for a few clients. Not impressed with the advisor interface in TWS. Can anyone recommend another online brokerage that allows an advisor to trade client accounts besides IB?
