You must be a wiz with the charting software to quickly draw in all those channels on several fractals quickly and still be able to enter orders, cover/reverse and all that jazz. I still have trouble live trading AND keeping all the channels up to date and adjusted...

There is no volume here, that makes a big difference for understanding whats going on. I dont think we can read this w/o the volume.

Spydertrader, If you have a "tape" in place and you are looking for a pt 3, does price BO'ing the taped RTL on increasing volume eliminate you from looking for pt 3 for a legitimate channel?

Something I must not be understanding about channels, because I though we draw them in when we have the first 3 points that appear to create a legitimate channel? To me this would mean 12:25 as point 1, 12:30 becomes pt 2 and 12:40 as the point 3. Each of these price points has price moving...

Ok I will. But the real channel in question is the one is 12:45-13:00. Am I wrong, or does price leave this channel on dec red volume?

Im not very computer savy but I can tell you the most recent situation. Maybe I just have it wrong but it seems to happen too often to me. Starting with a down channel, 12:25 is my pt 1, 12:30 is my pt 2 and 12:40 is my pt 3. I then have price BO of that down channel at 12:45. Clearly this...

Too often lately I am seeing price move outside a channel on decreasing volume (so I'm thinking to fan out, look for new point 3) only to see price go in the complete opposite direction. It seems like half the time we fan out when price exits a channel on decreasing volume (because a new pt 3...
