With no trading on Christmas and shortened trading days on christmas eve and the day after Christmas, what will happen to the time value of an option with a theta of 0.15? Will the value of the option decrease because of the shortened and closed trading days? Or are these days already factored...

It definetly looks like the next leg down is happening. We failed at the 50 day moving average.Of course we have to watch 8,100 on the Dow, but after failing to rally at the 50 day twice it looks like we could easily break through and revisit the lows.

Good trade. Pretty strong resistance here at around 81.29 and the 50 day MA currently at $82.64, but it looks like like it might try to break out with the reversal on Friday. Good to stay on the sidelines and watch for either a breakout to get long, or a bounce of the 50 day to get short.

The best time for me is around 1:00 to 2:00 pm and into the close. These late afternoon trends have just been too easy. A month or two ago it was easier to take a position in the morning when the trend starts (mostly from the short side) but lately there have been too many reversals in the morning.
