The losses will offset the gains and there is no taxes. The exception is if the losses are wash sales.

Is there any option to notify IB not to calculate wash sales on my 1099? I elected Mark-to-Market years ago and wash sales do not apply.

I think last year there was a surplus so they lowered the prices to get rid of the inventory. The deals for computers and components were terrible compared to last year. Memory prices are actually higher this year.
