So you are saying IB has enough bandwidth to give free realtime to everyone using their demo but not enough bandwidth to give QuoteTracker support to clients. Absurd.

If you are concerned about bandwidth, IB should immediately stop giving away realtime data in the demo version. IB should give *us customers* QuoteTracker support, to enable *us customers* to make better use of the IB feed. But QuoteTracker support and realtime data ONLY for *customers*...

QuoteTracker support of the IB feed is already developed. QuoteTracker only needs IB management authorisation to distribute it. Tell them you want it or they won't authorize. :)

Ixo7, I hope you have contacted IB management to request QuoteTracker support. We need every man, because ever vote counts... :)

What we are saying is to give quotetracker support to IB clients, not to non-clients like Datek did. Quotetracker support of the feed would only benefit clients.

You are right, my example is wrong. But, as you confirmed, to use all your 4x margin on a 25.000$ account is very dangerous, since below 25.000 you lose your access to margin. So to evoid daytraders doing that I still believe they will not give you margin and shorting with the minimum 25.000$.
