    InvesTools anyone?

To trade effectively over a sustained period of both good and especially the bad times you really need to know what your doing, have a well defined and proven trading style and also have the discretionary capital that you can afford to lose if something goes wrong. As for trading there exists...

Why don't you send and e-mail to Investools to report him and what he is doing and perhaps they will pursue legal action to make him stop?

Be careful of the institutional ownership info because you need to look at the dates as sometimes they are 3 to 4 months out earlier. And I realized that my style of trading don't rely heavily on fundamentals so I almost never use the site for investing information. Once I changed from using...

Emily, As I have posted I felt the same way about Investools and would not recommend them because of the high cost of their beginning and especially the advanced classes. Many people I talked to at the 2 day class I attended were returnees that were still trying to learn what was taught...

One technique I learned from the Thinkorswim guys is to do Bracket Orders. The low number is my stop and the upper number is my sell. Once its set up you don't have to think about it as it's all automatic and they are real easy to do.

Actually, the good thing about spending the $2k for the class was that the class got me interested in trading and I have been active for about 4 months and after some initial losses am now returning about 4% per month on my investments. I did make some mistakes starting out but did a great deal...

I had to pay $2k for the 2 day deal so the nice pen only cost me $1k. Would have rather saved the $1k and they could have their 'stinkin' pen!

The tools Investools offer are OK but as I said before they can mostly all be found elsewhere for free with a little searching. Their site makes it easy to track stocks and some of the 'additional' training might be good but it is very expensive and in my opinion many will just be wasting and...

It's not only Investools but the entire stock market is a huge scam bucket with a bunch of sleazy soul-less assholes that make their living taking money from the naive little saps that fall for the get rich quick schemes. But with a corrupt and morally deficient government officials (they're...

They do give you a real nice pen and free lunch if you sign up for the 2 day deal!! As for the friend, you can bring someone along for no additional charge so your friend could also attend for the same price and they would also get the pen / free lunch deal. A real two-fer :)

If you know anything about sales, watch for all the trial closes that caused me a great deal of concern. IMO, to really appreciate what they offer you should attend the 2 day session and that will cost you ~$2k but includes a year of site access. I still use the charting and research tool...

    InvesTools anyone?

Keep in mind that Investools charges a monthly fee of around $30 to use their site. There are certainly far too many people out there that want to show you how to be a millionaire using their gizmo but me being a hearty skeptic and fond of my hard earned money, none have really impressed me to...
