anyone have some information on how these pools are protecting their orders? I've read numerous articles lately about the increase in volume to these pools but have only come across a few stocks that have had noticable liquidity and then go away.

I know Edmonton isn't exactly traders capital of the world...not many ppl here would sacrifice no income for 1 or 2 years to take up trading when you can walk into a local Wal-mart and push broom for $20+/hr. Only 1 prop firm in the city but there's gotta be some guys (and hopefully girls)...

thats the risk they take...if you are not profitable they can let you go and you have risked nothing but your time.. i really recommend swift as its a good place to start.

the level of training varies depending on which firm you go to. I trade for swift in Alberta,Canada and the traders here have had to figure everything out on their own. the best advice i can give you is find an office with experienced profitable traders and your learning curve will be...
