    IB's new build is incredibly slow

    i dont have had any of this kind of problems for years. always latest Java and ALWAYS latest TWS. one time i had this kind of problem, support told me to make a new clean installation of BOTH (JAVA AND TWS) and since then TWS is fine.

    ubuntu and esp. Mint is cool, i like them. but i cant work having a terrible font on my windows. i checked for solutions, didnt find any. with windows 7/XP my firefox plots everything clear, with Mint i had no chance....

    checked commissions on both brokers. IB is simply cheaper, gp on the homepages and check it. a lot cheaper !

    USA server = 208.245.107.3 european server CH = 212.243.80.1 i am sitting in italy, ping USA = 130 ping CH = around 40 as what as i know, the data stream comes always freom US servers, the orders are send to the server you had choosen (here european server)

    has nothing to do with Stops... if your Forex Broker allows you a leverage of 1:200, and there are many of them you can trade 25.000.000/side with just 125.000 USD !!!! (stops have to do withj risk, but that is something different)
