Even more writedowns won't bring the market down. You could even have another Bear Stearns and the market will be supported. Don't believe the market can go straight up, look at MasterCard. Somebody got that one down to a science.

Apparently there is nothing short of a war that will take this market down. Even then, it would probably still go up somehow. This bear is turning in his claws.

I am with you on that. I think we are at a tipping point as the big money decides whether to take profits at these levels or not. Essentially, there hasn't been any real profit taking for weeks. Ultimately, oil will undoubtely continue to rise, however, a big short-term pullback is in order.

Just moved over or graduated from Ameritrade where I was used to being able to login over the weekends to set up strategies for the following week.
