    IB banking and funds calls

Sometimes changes are unavaidable. During such verification process I was asked more than once what my nationality is. Now, what kind of useless question is that? Someone who has 1) taken physical possession of my security device, 2) deciphered the pin, 3) compromised my IB account password...

    IB banking and funds calls

Well, if I don't call, my account will not be in "normal status". You can bet that I don't want to call them.

    IB banking and funds calls

I did everything on their webpages after typing in the codes from the security device and everything was correct, but I have to call to verify it's me who made the change. And there was never any suspicious activities in my account. Just finished the last call, took 29 mins.

    ÏB bank reference letter

I just need to open a very simple personal account. Don't think it matters much to me as long as it's not too hard to open and pays good interest. Local banks pay better interest but ask for more document.

    ÏB bank reference letter

I never mentioned IB. Just want to get more supporting materia because those bancos have different requirement and some takes much longer to open an account. And I haven't decided which bank to use yet. I think I'll go with the statements if I can't get a letter from IB. Thanks much.

    ÏB bank reference letter

Really? Which banks did you guys use? From what I read on the internet and an email I received from one of their representatives, a bank reference is a minimum, among other things. And when did you open your accounts? Things changed after 9/11. And, yes, I'll be going down there as a...

    ÏB bank reference letter

I actually don't mind they charge a fee for such extra services. Especially such simple ones, very easy for they to provide, and only those clients who need them pay for them.

    ÏB bank reference letter

It's for a bank in Panama and it's a standard requirement for a foreigner to open an account there. Nowadays many banks and brokers are mostly computers and it's difficult to get a letter like that, but that's still their standard requirement.

    ÏB bank reference letter

Well, it's for a foreign bank. The letter only confirms that for how long I've been with IB and how many digits are in the balance. And right after that it disavows any responsibility on the part of IB. Very standard. I inquired in another ticket a month ago and was told IB would supply...

    ÏB bank reference letter

I'm trying to obtain a reference letter from IB for the purpose of opening a bank account. It should be very simple because I already wrote it and all they need to do is to print and sign it. It is as vanilla as it gets, but nobody is picking the ticket up. Does anyone have tried to get...

    Mexico?

Am visiting DF. It's been good so far. People are very kind. Smog doesn't bother me. Haven't seen any crime yet. Trafic is horrible. So where are the traders in this city? Been walking around Polanco but it seems everyone is in the buildings, behind the doors. My Spanish is not helping...
