As a trader, I should be able to trade the dumb money and the smart money in any market.

No problem for citi, they have their guys in middle east and china throwing money at them. Just feel it for the average Joe that will be added to the unemployment list.

I would like to hear from those that traded the ES and failed. Also, where they think they went wrong and what they are trading now.

I would say for beginners that your first priority is preserving your capital and sticking to your 3-5 percent loss or tighter. I also feel that once you become an experience trader you are afforded the ability to do more things with risk reward because you have more insight.

I have been following this thread for a while and want to thank everyone that post here for their insight. Hope to learn a lot more in 2008 and be a better trader.
